Nice photos. Makes me really want to go back to Thailand. Although, I remember being ready to get out of Bangkok after two days.

I forget what the rest of your itinerary is like, but I'm going to be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro at the beginning of July. Starting the climb either the 5th or 6th and finishing up on the 12th. If you can swing your way down to Africa, you should.

Have fun.

Ha ha, it's Christie from Milk and Honey, finally got a chance to slow down myself and live vicariously through your first blog post. Granted a couple weeks have passed since the first adventures started for you, but I really enjoyed reading your tentative fears and laughed a little out loud at your slow, progressive conclusion that yes, indeed all of the above could and may actually happen-thievery, illness, lost...No worries though, it's all in the journey.
Peace,
Christie
